Summary: This book is about a little girl names Sally McCabe (the smallest girl in the smallest grade). She goes through school unnoticed, but notices everything, including bullying and hostility going on around her. One day, Sally finally had enough and decided to stand up to eradicate all the bullying and cruel behavior once and for all. To her surprise, her peers stood with her and she finally noticed a change for the better, and she no longer went unnoticed.

Evaluation: I really enjoyed this book and would definitely have it in my classroom. The message is great, especially when you are teaching young kids, because they are still learning that their actions can affect others and the world in a good or bad way. The beautiful pictures are by the same illustrator in Last Stop on Market Street.

I think this book is best for children between pre-k and second grade. The illustrations, rhythm and rhyme, and message work together to create a meaningful story appropriate to this age range.

This book could be used as an interactive read aloud or to teach about rhyming and vocabulary. In my classroom, I would like to use this book as an aid in social studies when learning about being a good citizen/neighbor to help students think about the ways that they can change the world/their communities.
